Susanna Bellafante came to St. Petersburg in 2004 and wasted little time in becoming active in the life of the City. She joined the Orchestra Guild in 2010 and has served as recording secretary, 3rd VP, and now as president.
In addition to the Guild, she is also a volunteer at St. Anthony’s Hospital, Bayfront Hospital and a docent at the Dali Museum and a member of its Guild, and Board member of St. Anthony’s Hospital Auxiliary and St. Petersburg Opera Guild and a founding member of St. Anthony’s Hospital Women in Philanthropy. In 2016 she was honored as a member of the Queen’s Court in recognition of supporting the cultural, charitable, and civic projects in the St. Petersburg area.
Susanna is taking the reins of the Florida Orchestra Guild, St. Petersburg, in a challenging year when normal meetings, social events, and performances have moved from physical venues to online. For the Guild, our beloved Orchestra, and the community, the year ahead promises new adventures and the opportunities to learn and enjoy our meetings no matter where they may take place.
